Pittsburg Police Nab Juvenile Spinning Donuts While Under The Influence

The Pittsburg Police Department announce that a vehicle that had prompted 7-service calls is now in car jail for 30-days.

According to Pittsburg police, since November 1st, they have received at least 7 calls for service regarding this mustang doing donuts downtown. On December 28, an officers caught him in the act. The driver attempted to get away, and thought he was going to be safe at home (no pun intended) in his driveway.

The driver a juvenile, was unlicensed and was operating the vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.
He was booked on his charges and the vehicle went to car jail on a 30 day impound.

Unfortunately, the law is insufficient in such cases. Unless the vehicle was stolen, it should be permanently forfeited with the proceeds going to crime victims’ aid causes.

And thats why insurance companies offer “UnInsured / Under Insured” coverage for the rest of us.
With no license, being high and spinning donuts I doubt that his car was either registered or insured.
Hopefully they’re charging him at least $35/day for storage.
