At 7:28 am Saturday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was dispatched to a report of a commercial structure fire on Brentwood Blvd in the City of Brentwood.

Multiple callers reported an exterior fire that began to catch a building on fire. The fire extended to the building and eventually smoke and flames were coming from the building with flames shooting from the roof.
Brentwood Police arrived on scene and blocked both directions of traffic near Lone Tree Way to allow firefighters to work the scene.
By 8:00 am the fire was extinguished and initial investigation was the fire started inside the building and extended outward. No injuries were reported.
As of 8:40 am, crews were still on scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
