That was my son… the other car hit him. Turned into his lane and side switched him. Know the facts first….before you judge

Are you saying you were there and you are a witness? Are these words as written here in this report not the facts?”the victim vehicle was traveling eastbound on Lone Tree Way at a high rate of speed. The victim vehicle struck another vehicle, causing it to lose control, leave the roadway, and collide with a tree. The occupant of the other vehicle was uninjured. Identification of the victims is being withheld pending notification to the next of
kin.”

Have you no EMPATHY?!? She said she is the MOTHER of one of the victims and ASKED for you not to judge and you replied asking whether an article is true or not and if she were there? That’s the first thing that comes to mind when reading her comment? She lost her child. Give the MOTHER some grace. Praying for all families involved.

Have you no reading comprehension? A question is not a judgement. Stop screaming and get off your high horse.

I read very clear and your response proves my point. Questioning a mom during her time of pain proves the type of person you are. It’s evident you’re on a horse they way you’re questioning someone during this time. Smh

Your tone is very judgmental and you seem to be the one on a high horse. Watch the video! It’s all over the news. The car in the middle lane clearly jerked to the right towards the victim’s car. Maybe he over corrected trying to avoid getting hit? Aside fr that….you sound like a total jerk. Zero compassion zero empathy for someone who literally just lost their son. Hope nothing happens to your family like it did this one and have some ass in the comments coming for you.

It’s amazing how much destruction is taking place in our city. Car accidents, homicides, corruption, thefts. My goodness. Antioch is in the news everyday and not for anything positive.

Clarification May 16, 2023 - 7:03 pm

Is “ the victim vehicle” the person that was traveling at a high rate of speed and caused the accident and three are dead?
Or the victim vehicle is the vehicle struck by the speeding vehicle?

I so sorry for your loss! It’s always the innocent people that pay the price for ignorant people that have no respect for human life!

Chris May 22, 2023 - 8:10 pm

The car was going 49 mph as was all traffic
The other vehicle attempted to make a right turn from the left lane. And was in the right lane when it hit the victims car sending it in to tree

So sad I am thinking of the families my heart goes out to you all

Deelee May 20, 2023 - 8:20 am

My condolences go out to the families involved. The young man seemed like a wonderful person – what a loss. I have seen the video several times and while it is CLEAR the lack vehicle moves into the victims lane, it’s the unbelievably EXCESSIVE speed the victims car was traveling that is the issue. Had he been traveling at the normal rate of speed, it would have simply been a fender bender. I have lived here my whole life and it is truly disheartening to see SOOO MANY people using Lone Tree & James Donolan like an Indiana Speedway. This did not have to happen!! Please please slow down people! PLEASE!
