A male was taken into custody Friday after a domestic incident resulted in him barricading himself in an Antioch home for several hours according to the Contra Costa County Sheriffs office.

The incident began after a woman was taken to a hospital after a call around 5:19 pm. Her injuries were not released and the location of the incident was not provided.

According to the Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office, they tracked the male back to his home to Lilac Lane in the City of Antioch which is just west of the Contra Costa Event Park. Air support was provided as deputies worked to get the male to come out of the home.
