The Brentwood Police Department announced two people from Antioch were arrested for shoplifting over $2200 worth of merchandise from Children’s Place at the Streets of Brentwood.

According to police, on July 26 at approximently 1:00 pm, Brentwood officers were dispatched to the Streets of Brentwood for a theft from the Children’s Place that just occurred.

On their way to the call, a Brentwood officer located the vehicle as it was attempting to flee and contacted the two suspects, identified as 30 year-old Paulosha Glasper of Antioch and 25 year-old Amoni Ponnellfontain of Antioch.

Interestingly enough the officer who pulled them over, recognized one of them from a previous theft report he took at the Streets of Brentwood. Officers recovered approximately $2200 worth of stolen merchandise. Paulosha who is on felony probation for theft, also had a warrant for burglary.

All of the property was returned to the stores, and Paulosha and Ponnellfountain were placed under arrest for organized retail theft, and other charges. They were both transported to the Martinez Detention Facility for booking.

No other information was released.

This is what happens when there is enough Police on the streets of a city.
DA will have them back on the streets in no time.

You can’t make some of these stories up. Antioch residents somehow linked to every crime.

Criminals Run (Ruin) Antioch July 27, 2023 - 9:02 pm

Criminals have set up shop in the city. Makes me sick that these people have ruined this city’s reputation and desirability. “Opportunity lives here” for crooks to take what doesn’t belong to them.

Can't believe city officels July 28, 2023 - 11:06 am

And it all started when section 8 came about get rid of the all the homes out in the new part of Antioch that are section 8 and go back to regular renting or sell the house but we’re bringing people in from all over and they’re messing up the neighborhoods and the more that you talk about not having enough police on the streets the worst crime will get because you’re telling them that they can get away with it this whole city needs to be restructured from the mayor right down to the left police officer hired this is used to be a town that was quiet respectful and everybody knew each other but it’s gotten far from that now where you can’t even feel safe to go out in the evening hours alone you’re either going to get carjacked your purse is going to get stolen are you going to get robbed
