Two Wounded in Oakley Shooting

At 6:23 pm Tuesday, the Oakley Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on Pecan Ct in the City of Oakley.

According to preliminary information, some sort of dispute led to an assault following by a shooting.

When Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters arrived on scene, they located one victim with a gunshot wound to the head and a second victim who was shot. A medical helicopter was requested along with a second AMR unit.
