Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle Near Concord

The California Highway Patrol reports that a pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle near the City of Concord.

According to CHP, on February 6 at about 2:30pm, CHP Contra Costa was advised of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on northbound Marsh Drive, south of Mobile Drive. At the time of the crash, a female pedestrian was in the roadway of Marsh Drive.

A grey Dodge pickup was traveling northbound and struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Dodge was not injured. This crash is still under investigation.
