The Brentwood Police Department announced the arrest of a Pittsburg woman in connection with a shoplifting within the Lone Tree Plaza.
According to police, on Monday around 8:30pm, swing shift officers were conducting extra patrol within the Lone Tree Plaza off of Lone Tree Way when they witnessed a shoplifting in progress at one of our local department stores.
Brentwood Police witnessed the suspect, 41-year-old Virginia Mobley out of Pittsburg, run to an awaiting vehicle, placing a large amount of clothes into the backseat of the vehicle, and get into the passenger seat. A traffic stop was conducted and both occupants within the vehicle were detained for a theft investigation.
