Pinole Police Searching For Suspect in Fatal Shooting

The Pinole Police Department is looking for the whereabouts of Jeffrey Kendall who is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred Friday morning.

On Friday, February 16th, 2024, at approximately 8:45 AM, Pinole Police Dispatch received a report of a subject breaking into a house in the 500 block of Summit Drive and attacking a female.

Pinole and Hercules police officers responded and found a female deceased with at least one gunshot wound inside the house. Officers did not find anyone else in the house.

Officers began their initial investigation and conducted a neighborhood canvass. A witness identified the suspect as Jeffrey Kendall, a 36-year-old White male who is associated with the house. Kendall was captured on video fleeing the area and seen leaving a grey Hyundai Elantra. Our Criminal Investigation Division responded and has assumed the investigation.

Jeffrey Kendall is 5’09”, 140 pounds, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, dark pants, and a baseball hat. His vehicle is a grey 2013 Hyundai Elantra with California license plate 8BLM036 with an ”Oxmoor Hyundai” sticker on the right side of the trunk lid.

Jeffrey Kendall is wanted for homicide and considered armed. Anyone with information including Kendall’s whereabouts is urged to call 510-724-1111 or 911.
