Vasco Road Work Set For Next Week

Unincorporated Contra Costa County, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will be performing scheduled pavement repair work on the north bound lane of Vasco Road, between the Alameda County line and Camino Diablo, beginning on Monday, February 26, 2024, through Wednesday, February 28, 2024, barring unforeseen circumstances. 

The work will take place between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Message boards will be posted to advise drivers before scheduled work begins. Drivers should expect up to 15-minute delays. The work will be scheduled to minimize impacts to commute traffic.

Well, repairs must be done and though it will be difficult for those that use this road on a regular basis there is a bright side to all of this. My first grandson, Callan, was born last night and as a result of his arrival, his Dad (my son), will not have to commute along Vasco for a few weeks.
