This initial 2024 GTPS will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — three days total — and will feature all kinds of tomato and vegetable plant varieties that are particularly suited to the growing conditions found in Central and South Contra Costa County, California, as well as throughout the county.

  • Sunday, April 14 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Monday, April 15 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

ALL PLANTS $4 per plant (that includes $4 per six-pack of beans).

East Contra Costa County: The GTPS will continue on April 20th (ONE DAY ONLY) at the Rivertown Demonstration Garden in Antioch (next to the county fairgrounds), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Antioch GTPS will feature tomato and vegetable varieties that are particularly suited to the growing conditions found in East Contra Costa County, as well as throughout the county.

West Contra Costa County: The GTPS will take place on April 27th (ONE DAY ONLY) at the Richmond Main Library terrace in Richmond (at Civic Center), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Richmond GTPS will feature tomato and vegetable varieties that are particularly suited to the growing conditions found in West Contra Costa County, as well as throughout the county.

ALL PLANT VARIETIES offered at the GTPS are carefully curated, sown, and cared for by your Contra Costa County Master Gardener volunteers. There will be MANY rare varieties offered!

Once again, this is our annual fundraiser, and we aim to sell out!
