Lafayette to Host Community Day on June 1

by CC News

On Saturday, June 1, 2024, Lafayette Community Foundation, in partnership with the City of Lafayette and the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, presents the 3rd Annual Lafayette Community Day!

Registration and Selection of Projects

Everyone is asked to register and select a project online, and sign this year’s event waiver before Friday, May 24. Exciting news: More family-friendly projects have added to year! We suggest everyone dress to get dirty. Feel free to bring your favorite work gloves as well as a water bottle.

Everyone should plan to arrive at 8 am to enjoy breakfast treats, receive details about their selected project, and to learn about this year’s project-host organizations at the LCD Nonprofit Fair.

All those who register after April 30 will have the opportunity on the morning of Community Day to learn about the participating nonprofit organizations and select their project. Note: We are offering more family-friendly projects this year!

Everyone should arrive at 8 am to enjoy breakfast treats and to learn about the project-host organizations. We suggest everyone dress to get dirty, i.e., to garden or paint a fence. Feel free to bring your favorite work gloves with you.
