Summer Concert Series Around Contra Costa County

With summer quickly approaching, cities across Contra Costa County have released their summer concert series with plenty of options to sit back and enjoy some nice tunes.


Alamo

Concerts are held at Livorna Park on Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Please call 925.313.2272 for information. Movies and bands are selected by the Alamo Municipal Advisory Council with input from the public. The events are paid for by the County Service Area (CSA) R7 fund, which is paid for by all Alamo residents. Each concert will have two food trucks available in the parking lot. Handicap spaces will still be available.

Antioch

The summer concert series returns in August from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Prewett Family Park. The acts have not yet been released.

Thursdays in June, 5:30-7:30pm. Join us every Thursday evening in June for a FREE outdoor concert from local artists at The Streets of Brentwood. No outside food or drink please.  Alcohol strictly prohibited. Please bring your own chair.

Clayton

The Clayton Concerts in the Grove return for the 2024 season. Concerts begin at 6:00 pm and run for 2.5 hour on select Saturdays.

Music & Market Concert series

Concord

The City of concord has announced that its popular concert series, Music & Market, will return this summer to Todos Santos PlazaThe four-month concert series features a lineup of talented local artists representing an array of musical genres. The events also include a vast farmers’ market hosted by the Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association (PCFMA), where visitors can shop all the great produce, snacks, home goods, and more that the Bay Area has to offer, including food trucks. The concerts will take place every Thursday from June 6 to September 26 (excluding July 4), from 6:30 to 8 p.m., with the farmers’ market running from 4-8 p.m. Download the flyer with lineup (PDF).

The concerts are held beginning May 26, 2024, and will be held every two weeks through September 1, 2024. Concerts go from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and are held at the Pleasant Hill City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane.

The city of Walnut Creek has a couple of different options for summer concerts. The Walnut Creek Arts and Recreation program has four concerts planned for Rudney Plaza (corner of Locust Street and Civic Drive) at 5:30 p.m.

Broadway Plaza hosts three concerts on Thursday nights on Broadway Plaza Street at 7:00 p.m.

The city of Walnut Creek puts on concerts at the Lesher Center for the Arts on Thursday nights at 5:30 p.m.

All concerts are FREE and perfect for the whole family! No tickets are required, but seating is first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive early
