Pittsburg Police Say Murder Investigation Leads to Guilty Verdict in Road Rage Shooting

On April 24, 2022, Adolfo Vasquez-Garcia was the victim of a road rage incident in which he was shot at 24 times. Six of those rounds struck Mr. Vasquez-Garcia and another 11 rounds hit a nearby occupied home.

Pittsburg Police officers responded to the shooting and found Mr. Vasquez-Garcia suffering from life-threatening injuries. Our officers immediately began medical aid and we are very happy to report that he survived this harrowing and senseless assault.

Ultimately, Anthony Henderson was identified as one of the suspects, and he was arrested.  Deputy District Attorney Karly Goodside prevailed and Anthony Henderson was convicted of all eight charges. Anthony Henderson is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Charles Burch (Dept 23) on April 7, 2023. — Fully Story
