Pittsburg Police Say 15-Year-Old Shot and Killed

Pittsburg PoliceOn December 29, 2022 at 3:04 pm, Pittsburg Police officers responded to a residence in the 4000 block of Suzanne Drive after several callers reported a subject had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a 15-year-old male had been shot. Officers rendered first aid until paramedics arrived. He was transported to a local hospital, and unfortunately did not survive.

Officers located numerous witnesses who have been interviewed by Detectives in an attempt to determine what happened. Through the investigation, a 15-year-old juvenile was found to be responsible for the shooting. He was arrested and booked on a involuntary manslaughter charge and transported to Juvenile Hall. Detectives are still following up with witnesses to determine a reason for the shooting and whether this was an intentional act.

Pittsburg Police Nab Juvenile Spinning Donuts While Under The Influence

The Pittsburg Police Department announce that a vehicle that had prompted 7-service calls is now in car jail for 30-days.

According to Pittsburg police, since November 1st, they have received at least 7 calls for service regarding this mustang doing donuts downtown. On December 28, an officers caught him in the act. The driver attempted to get away, and thought he was going to be safe at home (no pun intended) in his driveway.

The driver a juvenile, was unlicensed and was operating the vehicle while under the influence of marijuana.
He was booked on his charges and the vehicle went to car jail on a 30 day impound. — Story
