Brentwood Police Investigating Series of BB Gun Shootings at Vehicles

The Brentwood Police Department confirmed they are investigating a series of BB Gun shootings along Brentwood Blvd within the City of Brentwood. Lt. Walter O’Grodnick said Saturday a string of vehicles struck by a projectile, possibly a pellet or BB in the area of Brentwood Blvd. between Homecoming Way and Sunset Road. Vehicle windows were damaged, fortunately nobody was injured. “As far as we know, a total of six vehicles were struck between 01/13/23 at 5:40 am and 1/14/23 at 1:40 am, all in the same area,” said O’Grodnick. — full story

 

Brentwood Woman Sentenced in Cyberstalking Teenagers

Ramajana Hidic Demirovic was sentenced to 37 months in prison for cyberstalking and conspiracy to commit cyberstalking in connection with a scheme to harass and intimidate victims, including teenagers who had romantic relationships with the defendant’s co-conspirator, announced United States Attorney Stephanie M. Hinds

According to her plea agreement, Demirovic admitted she sent hundreds of malicious, deceptive, and abusive communications intended to sabotage the personal relationships, social reputation, academic life, and work prospects of her intended victims. In all, Demirovic pleaded guilty to seven counts of cyberstalking as well as an eighth count of conspiracy to commit cyberstalking. She acknowledged in her plea agreement that between 2016 and 2019 she and a co-conspirator attempted to cause and did cause substantial emotional distress to their victims. — Full Story

 

Brentwood Police Arrest Drive-by Shooting Suspect

On December 15, 2022, at around 9:15 p.m., Brentwood officers responded to the 100 block of Dunedin Drive on a reported shooting into an occupied home. Officers quickly arrived on scene where they found several shell casings in a nearby intersection and a home occupied by several residents was struck by gunfire.  The following day, Brentwood detectives located and recovered the suspect vehicle in Brentwood for further investigation. Ultimately, the suspected driver of the vehicle during the shooting was identified as, 19-year-old Jose PENA of Brentwood. — Full Story
