One Wounded in Saturday Shooting on Cavallo in Antioch

At  3:28 pm Saturday, the Antioch Police Department was dispatched to a report of a gunshot victim in the 1700 block of Cavallo Road in the City of Antioch.

The shooting took place in front of Rocketship Delta Prep.

By 3:34 pm, the scene was secure according to Antioch Police Department. A medical helicopter was requested by the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District, however, once the scene was clear, they opted for a ground AMR transport to an area hospital.

No details of the shooting were released and the condition of the victim is not known.

Damn good thing it happened on the weekend when school was out. Shootings, homeless all over the place. It's a beautiful part of town. What a shit hole. City of Lamar
