San Pablo Police Arrest Two With Firearms, Fentanyl and Cash

On Wednesday, the San Pablo Police Department arrested two individuals with firearms,  fentanyl and cash.

According to police, Officer Williams was on training with his training Officers Rios when he saw a suspicious vehicle. Officers mobilize to conducted a traffic stop and saw drug paraphernalia and a fake firearm in the center console.

The two people in the car were detained and during a search of the car officers located numerous bags of fentanyl, a loaded handgun and a large sum of cash!

Police identified the subjects as Damon Davis, 46 of Oakland, and Dawn Davis, 47 of San Francisco.  The arresting location was in the 13000 block of San Pablo Avenue in the City of San Pablo.


On May 12, a San Pablo Police Officer pulled over a car where he made contact two people inside the car. During the investigation, he found a stolen gun that the passenger hid in the car. The suspect also had over half an ounce of illegal narcotics on him. The suspect who is a convicted felon was booked into county jail.

On May 10, a San Pablo Police officer pulled over a car with two people in the car. During the investigation officers found a loaded handgun inside the car. Both of the people inside the car also had drugs on them. Both subjects were convicted felons and are not allowed to own or possess any firearms. They were booked into county jail and the gun and drugs were taken off the street.

On May 4, a night shift San Pablo Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. After speaking with the driver, it was discovered that there was a firearm in the car. Officer Abuan safely detained the subject, and located a loaded “ghost gun” tucked underneath the driver seat. The driver was arrested and taken to county jail.

On May 2, a San Pablo police officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was driving erratically. Unbeknownst to him, the driver had other plans and decided not to pull over. Moments later, the driver put the vehicle in park but still did not want to go with the program. The suspect fled on foot and the chase was on. Officer Trevino caught and safely detained him. During the pursuit, the suspect discarded a loaded firearm.

On April 29, a San Pablo police officer tried to stop a motorcycle, however a nearby crowd was encouraging him to flee. The motorcyclist thought it would be a good idea to take their advice and attempted to take off through some traffic. Determined to catch the suspect, Officer Swaleh jumped out of his car and ran after the motorcyclist on foot. Officer Swaleh was able to catch up to him and safely arrested the Vallejo resident. The man was armed with a loaded handgun with an illegal high capacity magazine. The male has a violent criminal history per police. This marks the 20th gun this year that the Weekend Day Shift team has taken out of the hands of convicted felons and prohibited individuals.

Also on April 29, Officer Swaleh made another traffic stop and arrested a San Francisco resident who had several ounces of methamphetamine and crack cocaine for sale. Shortly after,  Officer Swaleh just responded to an armed robbery at a local store, and located the suspect down the street minutes later. Needless to say, he was safely arrested and taken to county jail.
