“The Oakley Police Department Special Services Team (SST) was created just over two weeks ago with the specific mission of addressing quality of life issues and taking on criminal trends to maintain the good quality of life Oakley has to offer. Both of those elements felt the full brunt of what good police work can bring to bear when police officers with strong work values and ethics dedicate themselves to their craft. I trust the neighboring residents will feel the relief of having this issue mitigated today.
I know this neighborhood is not the only one in Oakley with “that one house”, but due to recent staffing increases to bring our patrol division to full strength, establish the SST and fill all of our detective openings the Oakley Police Department is fully functional. Criminals need not apply for our attention- we will seek you out instead. Stay safe Oakley” — ~Chief Paul Beard
Other Recent Arrests:

- July 13 – 9-Hour Standoff Ends in Peaceful Surrender to Oakley Police
- July 2 – Four Arrested in Oakley After Hit and Run Vehicle Crash

Fighting crime is an uphill battle. It’s good to see that OPD is at least in the ring.
Oakley a better place to live than Antioch.
Keep up the good work Oakley PD!!
The good citizens appreciate it.
Maybe Cassie knows something about all the cars being stolen from Antioch? Just sayin 😏
Way to go OPD!!!! Oakley values our quality of life! Thugs, dirt bags and all other trash can take their shit show somewhere else.
This police department DIRECTLY affects our quality of life. God love you!
