The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash early Thursday morning on San Pablo Road.
According to CHP, this morning (9/14/23) at approximately 6:14am, CHP Contra Costa responded to a two vehicle crash on San Pablo Dam Road near Terri Ann Court. Our preliminary investigation indicates a Suzuki motorcycle, with a solo male rider, was traveling eastbound on San Pablo Dam Road and a Ford F-350, with a solo male driver, was entering San Pablo Dam Road from Terri Ann Court.
As the Ford was pulling out, the Suzuki collided into the side of the Ford which caused the rider to be thrown from the motorcycle.
The rider of the Suzuki sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital for suspected minor injuries. This crash is still under investigation.
