San Pablo Police Make 24 Arrests and Recover 6 Stolen Vehicles

The San Pablo Police Department announced this week they made 24 arrests and recovered 6 stolen vehicles within the City of San Pablo.

According to police, they provided a rundown of several incidents.

In one incident, officers found suspect driving a stolen car through the Cit of San Pablo. The driver was arrested and he was found to have thousands of dollars, a cash drawer , gloves , a mask, a fake pistol , bolt cutters, and gift cards to FBI Burger in Novato. Police made contact with Novato who confirmed several Marin County businesses had recently been broken into. The suspect was identified as Laurence Amey, 36, Hercules.

In another call, a few suspects tried to steal beer from a local liquor store without paying . When the clerk tried to stop them, they threatened him with a knife and tried to stab him. Officers quickly responded and took all three subjects into custody. They were identified as Dustin Brown 36, Pinole; Brenda Felix, 22, Richmond; Agustin Lopez-Andrade, 24, San Pablo.

On another call, officers found another subject in a stolen car parked at Nations , which was just stolen from El Cerrito. The thief tried to run but he was quickly apprehended with the help of its K9 Unit.  The owner was reunited with her Prius. The suspect was identified as Joshua Moore, 36, Sacramento.

In the final highlight, police stopped a vehicle wanted by Dixon Police related to organized retail theft. During the stop, police located a bunch of stolen items. The subject also had a warrant and the vehicle was towed. The subject was identified as Keith Dantonio, 54, Fairfield.
