Flooding Temporarily Closes Rubiano’s in Brentwood

Rubiano's

For those curious why Rubiano’s in downtown Brentwood is listed as temporary closed, they confirmed Wednesday it was due to a busted pipe that flooded the business.

The total damages have not yet been determined, but there was severe water damage throughout the business which prompted many to assist the business in clearing out the water and items inside.

Rubiano’s originally announced they were closed for maintenance, before giving a formal update:

Yesterday right after we opened we got the call from staff that water was pouring out from the ceiling. A pipe burst in our sprinkler system and caused flooding throughout the restaurant. Thankfully, we got there in time and were be able to mitigate some of the damage but we need some time, compassion and understanding as we rebuild. We have been through so much since opening in June 2019 and then Covid and now this! We are so thankful for our community and we hope to be open as soon as we can to serve our amazing community.

Thank you to all of our downtown community friends that came out yesterday to support us and help us during this difficult time.

There is no timeline on when they will be able to reopen.

Rubiano’s is located at 235 Oak Street in the City of Brentwood and offer a variety of pizzas, pastas, salads, stromboli, and other goodies. They also host events and have space for parties.

Damn, we should all go an enjoy a pizza as soon as they’re up and running again.
This downtown business needs our support, especially after a period of absolutely no revenue.
