Pittsburg Store Clerk Arrested for Selling Drugs and Tobacco to Minors

The Pittsburg Police Department announced that a store clerk was arrested for hiding and selling drugs illegally in a store to minors. According to police, the clerk was selling tobacco to minors while also hiding and illegally selling drugs in the store. The Pittsburg Police Department Special Investigations Unit (SIU) recently conducted a compliance check on a local convenience store. The operation was designed to make sure minors couldn’t buy tobacco. However, detectives discovered the illegal operation after the clerk sold tobacco to an underage decoy. During the search, officers located an 8-ft hidden compartment with more than 3,000 flavored vape products and cigar wraps. Then, a further search located muchrooms, marijuana, Vicodin pills that were sold out of the business to patrons. — Full Story
