Five adults were displaced after a early morning house fire Tuesday in the City of Antioch according to Contra Costa County firefighters.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a home in the 600 block of Putnam Street at 4:10 am Tuesday on a report of a bedroom fire.
Upon arrival, crews observed smoke and flames coming from the home. It was both in a back bedroom and the exterior. While crews made entry, the fire made its way to the front of the home.
By 4:32 am, the fire was knocked down with a board up company needed 20-sheets of plywood. The red cross was requested for five adults.
