The Antioch Police Department is asking for the public to assist them in identifying a suspect in January 3 shooting on Sycamore Drive within the City of Antioch.
Police released suspect photographs Thursday evening.

On January 5, after a request for information on this shooting, Antioch Police stated a press release was coming, but nothing was ever released, however, they said a 32-year-old male was shot in the parking lot of The Spot and the male was in critical condition.
However, by January 9, the following information was released:
On January 03, 2024, at approximately 8:37 PM, Antioch Police Department officers responded to Sycamore Square located at 1068 Sycamore Drive for a reported shooting that occurred in the parking lot.
When officers arrived, they located evidence of shooting.
While officers were on scene, a 32-year-old male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound arrived at an area hospital. The male victim was treated for his injuries where he was admitted and is in critical but stable condition.
Antioch Police Department’s Investigations Bureau, consisting of Crime Scene Investigators and detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit took over the investigation. This is an active investigation, and no further information will be released.

Sycamore doing Sycamore things. I don’t understand why they waited 4 weeks to release a photo, this makes absolutely zero sense.
It took so long because they wanted to avoid showing a picture of a member from a protected group. They hoped to get the suspect without showing him.
LIBERALISM AT WORK. I know you’ll get tired of seeing this but it’s a fact. America is becoming a third world country, all at the hands of liberal lawmakers and politicians. Time to elect Conservative lawmakers, not necessarily Republicans but Conservatives, those who believe in and support the ideals our Country was founded on.
Amen on the need for more conservative governance. Its important not to conflate ‘Republican’ with ‘conservative’ as not all Republicans are conservative as we have seen with some of the border bill shenanigans from some of the Senate ‘Republicans’ this past week.
