The Antioch Police Department are investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left one female victim with non-life threatening injuries in the City of Antioch.
According to police, Tuesday night, at approximately 11:00 PM, Antioch officers responded to a residence on the 5000 block of Oneida Way for the report of a man with a gun. As information was being taken by dispatch, Antioch police officers began responding.
During this time of response, additional reports were received that multiple shots had been fired.
When officers arrived, a female victim was found inside a residence suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The female was transported to an area hospital for treatment where she was determined to be in stable condition.
During the investigation it was learned by Antioch Police that several people were inside and outside of the residence when a vehicle drove by. Someone from inside the vehicle fired numerous shots at the residence, the female was struck, and the vehicle fled.
It was also learned that this incident may have stemmed from an earlier argument between several people.

That would be south east Antioch with houses built on small lots with postage stamp size back yards.
Past city councils signed off on planning process and citizens of Antioch get to endure crime consequences.
That’s actually a nice area and normally quiet. Unfortunately in Antioch the turds don’t always feel like they need to stay in the toilet and they sometimes end up in the punch bowl instead.
