Oakley Police Arrest Student for Having Gun at Freedom High School

On Friday, the Oakley Police Department announced a student at Freedom High School was arrested for having a firearm in a vehicle on campus.  The student was a 17-year-old. — see story

Search Warrant Nets 3 Arrests by Oakley Police

The Oakley Police Department Special Services Team and Investigations Unit have been looking into suspected criminal activity occurring at a home in the 5500 block of Daffodil Drive.

During the afternoon of July 27, 2023 a search warrant was served at this location and the suspicions of our officers were proven to be right on target. Our officers located illegal drugs, one firearm, two stolen vehicles, five detached Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) plates, one altered vehicle title (pink slip), stolen property, items related to identification theft, evidence of maintaining a drug house and evidence of operating a chop shop during the search warrant. — see story

Trio Arrested by Oakley Police After Attempted Vehicle Theft

Oakley Police Chief Paul Beard announced three individuals have been arrested after an attempted vehicle theft on Yellow Rose Circle in the City of Oakley. The suspects were identified as Anthony Parson (21, Oakley), Kyle LaCosta (20, Brentwood) and Brian Ray (20, Antioch). All three suspects were booked into jail for this offense. — see story
