Pittsburg Police Seek Suspect in July Murder
Shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Monday, the Pittsburg Police Department, with the assistance of additional law enforcement agencies, conducted a large scale operation that involved serving numerous search and arrest warrants throughout Contra Costa County.
These warrants resulted from a murder investigation on an incident that occurred in Pittsburg on July 14, 2023, in the 2100 block of Crestview Drive.
During Monday’s operation, a total of ten search warrants were served in Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, and Pleasant Hill.
During the search warrant service, nine people were arrested for various crimes. These crimes included murder, firearms violations, and narcotics-related offenses. 19-year-old Pittsburg resident Amen Syrius Allen is wanted in connection to the July 14th murder. He should be considered armed and dangerous, and the Pittsburg Police Department encourages anyone who sees him to contact local law enforcement.
