Suspect in Fatal Shooting Release

On Friday, the Oakley Police Department and the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office each issued statements after a suspect in the October 21 fatal shooting of a 16-year-old male on Shannon Way. On October 25,  the Oakley Police Department arrested Jason Walizada (18, Antioch) in connection with these heinous crimes. Walizada was released from jail. This latest development is always considered to be a possibility in major cases like ours where there are large amounts of evidence to process and sort through. — full statement
